The Summit is a multi-session, multidisciplinary event for professionals working to prevent, detect, and respond to elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration and event details to follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"save-the-date-first-annual-statewide-biomedical-science-research-symposium-planned-for-october-13-14-2022\">SAVE THE DATE: First Annual Statewide Biomedical Science Research Symposium planned for October 13-14, 2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Maine, the University of New England, Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory, Jackson Laboratory, the Roux Institute, Northern Light Healthcare and Maine Health are sponsoring a statewide research symposium covering biomedical sciences and engineering.&nbsp; The symposium will highlight the diverse and state of &nbsp;the art work being carried out in Maine\u2019s public and private academic institutions, healthcare systems and private industry as it relates to biological\/physiological disciplines, medicine, biomedical engineering and data science.&nbsp; The event will take place on October 13 and 14th 2022 at the University of New England Innovation Hall, Portland Maine.
