The biological risk associated with playing, delivering, and watching sports as a consequence of COVID-19 is formidable. Consequently, Perkins Eastman organized&nbsp;a&nbsp;group of thought leaders to consider the&nbsp;future of sport&nbsp;from the perspective of&nbsp;experts&nbsp;who are leaders in&nbsp;their fields:&nbsp;sport architecture, planning, academia, athletic administration, and&nbsp;environmental behaviorism.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Gordon\u2019s research examines the role that emotion plays in sport spectators\u2019 consumption of sport venues and related products. His work contributes to sport venue design and management, fan behavior, sport tourism, and the influence of security protocol and related technologies on the sport consumer experience. He has served as a guest speaker at a variety of institutions, including Harvard University\u2019s Graduate School of Design, and was recently named a Research Fellow by the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1981 in New York City, Perkins Eastman is a global architecture firm that consists of 17 interdisciplinary offices throughout the world. The firm operates in 14 practice areas, which includes a Sports &amp; Exhibition practice.
