Kaye, D.S.W., Ph.D., Director, UMaine Center on Aging, Professor, UMaine School of Social Work<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clifford Milo Singer, MD, DFAPA, AGSF, Chief of Geriatric Mental Health and Neuropsychiatry at Acadia Hospital and Eastern Maine Medical Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Seminar<\/strong>: This seminar will consider the unprecedented negative impacts that COVID-19 has had on older adult well-being especially from social, psychological, and behavioral perspectives. Special emphasis will be placed on resultant increases in the risk of older adults experiencing social isolation and loneliness during the pandemic as well as other conditions that have served to further threaten elder health, safety, and quality of life.
