This&nbsp;is a statewide event that aims to get middle school students excited about science and inform them of the opportunities that they might have working in a science-related field in their future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteers are asked to visit a local middle school to talk about your career and conduct a hands-on activity. We are planning to have activity kits if you&#8217;d rather not prepare your own.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the last two years, we have done this event remotely. This year we are introducing a hybrid model with both in-person and virtual programming.&nbsp; If you are interested in this effort and would like to devote a couple hours and give back to the community, now is the time to register. P.S.
