Laura comes to us with a variety of experience from her prior roles at UNE, including Coordinator of the Student Access Center and Student Support Specialist for CGPS. Laura\u2019s additional background in mental health counseling, social work, and the health and nutrition fields informs her familiarity with HIPAA regulations and adherence. In her new role, Laura will ensure UNE\u2019s HIPAA compliance by monitoring student trainings and providing valuable HIPAA-related education across the university. Laura can be reached at 207-221-4616 and <u><a href=\"mailto:hipaa@une.edu\">hipaa@une.edu<\/a><\/u> and her office will be located in McDougall Hall on the Portland Campus.
