The BioME Scholarship Program was designed to help advance Maine students\u2019 academic and professional careers in the field of bioscience, as well as enhance workforce development within Maine\u2019s life sciences industry. This program is available for Maine residents or students enrolled in Maine academic institutions only. \u00a0 All five scholarship applications are now OPEN, and we would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with your colleagues, friends, and families! \u00a0 Please note that the Seed Grant Award deadline is this month on February 16th. \u00a0 BioME Academic Scholarship<\/strong><\/a> ($4,000)<\/strong> For high school seniors and undergraduate students majoring in life sciences. Funding to cover costs associated with attending university. Applications Open:\u00a0<\/strong>February 1, 2023 – March 24, 2023 \u00a0 BioME Summer Internship Award<\/strong><\/a> ($4,000)<\/strong> For undergraduate and graduate students who are interning at an unpaid or minimally funded internship with a Maine employer. Funding to cover costs associated with internship and additional room and board.\u00a0 Applications Open:\u00a0<\/strong>February 1, 2023 – March 3, 2023 \u00a0 BioME Seed Grant<\/strong><\/a> (up to $5,000)<\/strong> For undergraduate and graduate students conducting original life sciences research. Funding to cover costs associated with research-related expenses. Applications rolling and reviewed on a biyearly basis. Winter Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>February 16, 2023 Fall Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>September 29, 2023 \u00a0 BioME Travel\/Conference Award<\/strong><\/a> (up to $2,000)\u00a0<\/strong> For undergraduate and graduate students who have had their research accepted for presentation at a professional life sciences conference. Funding to cover costs associated with attendance. Applications rolling and reviewed on a quarterly basis.
