{"id":8478,"date":"2023-04-27T12:49:44","date_gmt":"2023-04-27T17:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.une.edu\/research\/?p=8478"},"modified":"2023-04-27T12:49:47","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T17:49:47","slug":"maine-snap-ed-presents-on-intervention-success-and-program-best-practices-at-national-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.une.edu\/research\/maine-snap-ed-presents-on-intervention-success-and-program-best-practices-at-national-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Maine SNAP-Ed presents on intervention success and program best practices at national meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The University of New England&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.une.edu\/ceph\">Center for Excellence in Public Health<\/a>&nbsp;(CEPH) had several presentations at the national annual meeting of the Association of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) Nutrition Education Administrators (ASNNA), held in Arlington, Virginia, from Feb. 7\u20139 and virtually on March 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference&#8217;s theme was \u201cReconnect, Rebuild, Reimagine.\u201d Invited speakers highlighted SNAP-Ed\u2019s alignment with the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health and the Biden-Harris Administration\u2019s commitment to end hunger and reduce diet-related diseases by 2030.
