Application deadline September 15, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are grateful for help in disseminating the following information about the Fulbright Norway Distinguished Arctic Scholar Award. Application deadline September 15, 2023, for minimum 3 month research stay beginning August 2024.<br><br>US citizens with a scholarly focus on polar and High North issues, a Ph.D. or equivalent professional\/terminal degree (including a master\u2019s degree, depending on the field) as appropriate, and a significant publication and teaching record are eligible to apply for an Arctic Scholar award. The Arctic award for U.S. scholars is a three month grant\u00a0 to do research and lecture any institution of higher education or research in Norway. One award is given to a U.S. scholar each year.
