Everyone! The Makerspace is open to all members of the UNE community.<\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tWhat’s in the Makerspace?<\/summary>\n\t\t

The Makerspace is made up of three spaces: A flexible classroom, a design lab, and a workshop. Collectively the spaces include everything from craft supplies to power tools to specialized computer software.<\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tCan I work on personal projects? <\/summary>\n\t\t

Yes! The Makerspace is available for any project you want to work on.<\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tI have a research idea. How can I get started?<\/summary>\n\t\t

We are ready to help you get your idea off the ground! Stop by during open hours or email us at makerspace@une.edu<\/a> and we can get started.<\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tI’m a faculty member. Can I bring my class to the Makerspace?<\/summary>\n\t\t

Yes! Please contact <\/span>makerspace@une.edu<\/span><\/a> if you are interested in teaching a class or lab in the Makerspace.<\/span><\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tI\u2019m a faculty member. Can I have something made for my research?<\/summary>\n\t\t

We are working to expand our capacity to accommodate faculty requests. Please contact makerspace@une.edu<\/a> about your needs and we will do our best to fit you in to our schedule.<\/p>\n\t<\/details>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

\n\t\tDo you have any paid positions?<\/summary>\n\t\t

Yes! We are currently hiring Federal Work-study students for the 2024-2025 school year. Applications can be submitted on Handshake<\/a>.
