In April, UNE North hosted Icelandic author and activist Andri Snaer Magnason for a virtual celebration of the U.S. launch of his new book – On Time and Water. More than 70 participants from across Maine, the North Atlantic and as far west as Seattle, Washington, joined Andri for a presentation, small group discussion and Q&A. We hope that this is the first of many collaborations with Andri, whose work speaks to UNE’s goal to build awareness of and urgency for climate and sustainability action in the North.
