Clinical leaders have a chance to participate in the Northern New England Clinical Champions Program (NNE-CCP). This HRSA-funded opportunity is for FQHC-based DOs, MDs, or PAs who are interested in developing their leadership skills to support new or support existing Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) or Substance Use Disorder (SUD) programming for their patients and communities. Participating clinicians will:
· Receive mentorship, engage with fellow providers across New England, and strengthen skills in leadership, health policy, and quality improvement.
· Clinical Sites will receive compensation of $25,000/year (for one year) to compensate for the clinician’s time away from patients for NNE-CCP activities
· Over the course of the cohort clinicians will design and implement a OUD/SUD health care transformation project tailored to the needs of their own site and/or community
We are currently looking to recruit a third cohort of clinicians to participate in the NNE-CCP; more information about the NNE-CCP including the requirements and application can be found on the NNE-CCP website (https://sites.une.edu/nnechampions/). The deadline for applications is April 30, 2022.
Thank you for your consideration, and for your help in sharing this information with your staff and constituents. Attached is a marketing flyer and a one-page overview of the opportunity for you to share.
