A majority of the students in the Maine CUP AHEC Scholars program participated in a UNE-led reproductive health leadership program. The students assembled care kits that included $2,500 worth of menstruation pads for the St. Elizabeth pantry. Additionally, Family Planning in Augusta, Maine received abortion care kits assembled by the graduate students, which also included cards for the recipients that were designed by UNE art students.
