For students to be compliant with immunization requirements, a current record of immunizations and proof of a physical exam administered within the last 12 months is required before students can attend classes. All documentation for this record should be uploaded to Medicat, UNE’s patient portal, which can be found at https://une.medicatconnect.com/.

Required Documentation
The State of Maine requires the following immunizations for all students:
- Tdap/Td vaccine administered within the last 10 years and maintained during the student’s enrollment.
- Two doses of the MMR vaccine administered after age 1 and at least 28 days apart, and/or MMR antibody titer showing immunity.
The University of New England requires of all students:
- A physical exam administered within the 12 months prior to beginning classes at UNE.
Additional immunization requirements for all students living on campus:
- MENINGOCOCCAL ACWY vaccine administered on or after the age of 16, and within the last five years prior to the student’s move into the residence halls.
Students should also check with their academic program for additional requirements.
