We are now just over one day from the start of our archaeological investigation and we’re excited.
Was the site obliterated at the time the building was removed? Is there useful stratigraphy or did the frightful leveler erase it? Will we find any remains? Bits of pottery? Evidence of a shore dinner hall?

There is an electrical line to one side along a low hedge, but otherwise there are few dangers to worry about. What is intriguing is that while doing the survey, the crew found evidence of metal objects in a number of places not obviously associated with any pipes or power lines.
