You are warmly invited to join the International Science Council online on 13 October 2021 for virtual networking and a series of special events:
- A discussion of the findings emerging from the ISC COVID-19 Scenarios project, together with representatives from the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR);
- The first edition of the ISC Awards to honour outstanding individuals and groups working to advance science as a global public good;
- A panel discussion on public perceptions of science with ISC Patrons Mary Robinson, Ismail Serageldin and Vint Cerf;
- Virtual networking.
These events take place as part of the 2nd ISC General Assembly, which will be held between 11 and 15 October, and will include discussion of ongoing projects, meetings of ISC Members, and election of a new Governing Board.
