The UNE Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Office of Research Integrity have developed two new resource documents for UNE research personnel, both of which can be found on the UNE IRB website at https://www.une.edu/research/compliance/irb:
- Determination of Human Subject Research Form. Please use this form when you are unsure if your project meets the regulatory definition of “research involving human subjects” and would like an official determination from the Office of Research Integrity.
- Consent Template for Online Surveys. This new consent form template has been developed for research utilizing online surveys. This template should be easier for both researchers and participants to use in online survey software such as REDCap.
