Final Spring NNE-CTR Seminar – Trends in Translational Research Technologies | Friday, June 10th, 12-1pm

Presenting will be Dr. Frances Carr, Professor in the UVM Department of Pharmacology, Associate Director for Shared Resources at the UVM Cancer Center, and Core Lead for the NNE-CTR TRT Core; Dr. Doug Taatjes, Professor in the UVM Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, and Director of the Microscopy Imaging Center in the Larner College of Medicine; and Dr. Aaron Brown, Faculty Scientist at MaineHealth Institute for Research, Director of their Molecular Phenotyping, Flow Cytometry and Viral Vector Cores, and Co-Lead for the NNE-CTR Core.

Learn about some of the newest, state of the art technologies offered through this important Core, including a description and overview of optogenetics and the resources available to add this technology to your tool kit, and a demonstration of some of the NNE-CTR sponsored instrumentation in the Microscopy Imaging Center.
