Faculty and researchers from any Maine Space Grant Consortium (MSGC) affiliate institutions are invited to the Ideas Lab in-person event in Portland on May 6, 2022. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
The meeting begins at 10 am and concludes by 2 pm with lunch and tour included. More information about the location will be forthcoming.
Seed grant funding is available for those who attend the event and submit a collaborative proposal after the event.

The MSG Ideas Lab is an interactive and free-thinking workshop where a group of researchers from a range of disciplines and backgrounds get together to collaborate in order to construct innovative solutions and approaches for advancing Maine’s involvement in space exploration. We encourage participation of researchers who may be outside of typical engineering and aerospace fields, e.g., scientists in the social, physical, and biological sciences whose interests and expertise complement projects that are relevant to
NASA and the Maine Spaceport Complex. . The MSG-Ideas Lab also encourages the participation of those at primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs), who might otherwise not have the resources and/or time to pursue projects of suitable scope at their institutions
