Good afternoon,
It is my pleasure to announce that Jamie Vaughn has joined the UNE Office of Research Integrity as the Research Integrity Administrator / Animal Facilities Manager, effective December 21, 2020. Please share this information with your units.
Jamie has over 20 years of experience with animal facilities management and over 10 years of IACUC experience here at UNE. Jamie has also gained a deep knowledge of transgenic animals through his current role with the Genotyping Core and is very familiar with many UNE Investigator projects.
I will continue to administer the IACUC and IBC programs (including monitoring the iacuc@une.edu and ibc@une.edu email accounts) during this transition, with Jamie eventually taking over the administration of both programs within the next 2-3 months.
Please join me in welcoming Jamie to the Office of Research Integrity! Jamie’s office is located in the Pickus building on the Biddeford Campus.
