Jessica graduated from the University of Maine class of 2021 with a degree in Marine Sciences, concentrating in Aquaculture.
During her time at the University of Maine, she interned at the Aquaculture Research Center on campus and the Aquatic Animal Health Lab at the Diagnostic Research Center in Orono, Maine.
While interning, she participated in several research studies concerning Atlantic salmon and American lobsters. For her senior project, she researched the effects of pig hide bait consumption on hepatopancreas glycogen concentration in American lobsters.
She is excited to be back in the lab and continue working with fish in the Zebrafish Education and Research Facility!
