BioME’s 7th annual ME Bioscience Day will take place throughout the week of November 14, 2022. This is a statewide event that aims to get middle school students excited about science and inform them of the opportunities that they might have working in a science-related field in their future.
Volunteers are asked to visit a local middle school to talk about your career and conduct a hands-on activity. We are planning to have activity kits if you’d rather not prepare your own.
In the last two years, we have done this event remotely. This year we are introducing a hybrid model with both in-person and virtual programming. If you are interested in this effort and would like to devote a couple hours and give back to the community, now is the time to register. P.S. You don’t need to be a science expert to volunteer!
