Michele Polacsek, Ph.D., M.H.S is senior author on a report outlining how local education authorities can reduce student exposure to digital food and beverage marketing.
The reports follow a year-long study, led by Dr. Polacsek, that involved identification of policy gaps and development of policy and practice recommendations as well as model policy language. The research team reviewed the literature, interviewed stakeholders, and completed legal research to develop the recommendations. The study was funded by Healthy Eating Research, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
