Call for applications to be an NNE-CTR Clinical Research Scholar at MaineHealth in 2022-2023

The Northern New England Clinical and Translational Research Network (NNE-CTR) is pleased to announce a call for applications to be a Clinical Research Scholar at MaineHealth, with project dates of August 15, 2022 – June 30, 2023. The successful applicant for the Clinical Research Scholar program will be junior faculty with a clinical science-relevant degree (e.g., MD, DO, PhD, PharmD, RN), and will receive 10% protected research time, as well as the creation of a mentoring team built around the scholar. This protected time would be used by the scholar to conduct research and/or scientific writing of grant applications or manuscripts within the context of a productive scientific setting that includes mentors, collaborators, and other resources as needed, overseen by the NNE-CTR Professional Development Core. Former Clinical Research Scholars supported by the NNE-CTR include Kinna Thakarar DO MPH and Aurora Quaye MD.
