Join us as we reflect on the state of women in the workplace, identify some of the challenges women face today, and discuss the role allies can play in women’s empowerment.
In this training session facilitated by Seconde Nimenya, you will:
- Have the opportunity to reflect on the effects of structural inequities that affect women in the workplace, and the practical steps for moving women’s equity forward.
- Gain insights to help women unlock their full potential, so they can show up as their full authentic selves and thrive.
- Learn the best practices to build and empower a diverse workforce that brings diverse perspectives for innovation.
It is crucial that we have these conversations to facilitate diversity, equity and inclusion, both in our workplaces and in the broader communities where we work and live
Seconde Nimenya is an author of five books on personal and professional leadership development and her most recent is: Unlocking Diversity: How to Create Inclusive Cultures in a World of Differences. This is a timely and thought-provoking book in which Seconde shares the best practices to support institutional leaders and individuals in their diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, while bridging the gaps between diverse and multicultural communities. Through her leadership development programs, Seconde works with organizational leaders and individuals who want to build inclusive workplace cultures, where everyone feels accepted for who they are and what they bring to the world to make it a better place for all. Her TEDx talk on race and other identity constructs, titled, “We Are Not All That Different” has been hailed as the most inspirational talk for our times.
