The gut microbiome is involved in everything from mental health to metabolic syndrome and bowel disease. WCHP faculty Ron Hills and Steev Sutton reviewed the role of diet and other interventions in shaping gut microbiota and in turn human health and disease. The article was co-written by fourth year student in the Doctor of Pharmacy program, Hillary Mischon, and alumnus Cody Black, who is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the translational science program at UT Austin.
