On April 28, the Center for Excellence in Public Health’s Maine Area Health Education Center Network (AHEC) hosted the Maine Department of Corrections (Maine DOC) and WellPath, the healthcare services provider for Maine correctional facilities on the Portland campus. During their visit, Maine DOC and WellPath met with UNE health profession programs, Centers of Excellence, and Service Learning Program to discuss student learning opportunities and clinical rotations. In addition, Maine DOC and WellPath toured the simulation lab and dental clinic.
