Computational Biology Core/Maine INBRE Bioinformatics Core survey

Dear Colleagues

One of the goals of the Computational Biology Core/Maine INBRE Bioinformatics Core is to continually improve our educational offerings.  These efforts have become increasingly pertinent with the NIH and NSF’s push towards Cloud Computing as a means of carrying out our educational and research efforts.  Our goal is to help provide our communities with the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate this new world.  ‘

To this end, Nathaniel Maki, Chris Smith and I have created a brief survey of needs and interests for education in computational skills that can be found here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/77YZCHW

The results of this survey will help us better focus our efforts in the coming months.  You may complete the survey at your convenience, but we will begin to collect and process information on the first Monday in January (January 3, 2022).

Any additional comments, suggestions, or requests can be sent directly to me at jhgraber@mdibl.org.

We thank you in advance for your help and wish all a happy and peaceful holiday season.

Joel
