Three Maine companies (Bixby & Co, bluShift Aerospace, and STARC Systems) in dogged pursuit of fulfilling the American Dream will face off to see who wins $25,000, $10,000 or $5,000 in prize money on Greenlight Maine.

The 2021 National SBIR Week is a live-streamed, virtual event designed to connect entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs focus on next generation research and development. These programs are the largest source of early-stage funding in the country and provide over $4 billion to small businesses annually.
UMaine Offers STEM Research And Career Exploration Course For High Schoolers
The University of Maine will acquaint high school students with potential careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) throughout the five-week course, Introduction to Integrated Science and Career Exploration. Located at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast, the course will include fieldwork, classroom study and lab work as the students tackle a research project along with career planning.
