The Division of Environmental Biology (DEB) at the National Science Foundation is hosting a Virtual Office Hour focused on Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUI). Both the challenges and opportunities that faculty at PUIs experience make navigating the NSF funding landscape unique, and we are here to help.
We will discuss a variety of topics to help scientists at PUIs find success in supporting their research and their students. Topics will include specific funding opportunities relevant to PUI faculty, the proposal submission and review processes in BIO, and the Facilitating Research at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions solicitation (NSF 14-579), specifically. The majority of the office hour will be an opportunity for you to ask questions of Program Officers, so bring your queries! The Office Hour will take place on April 11, 2022 from 1-2pm Eastern Time. While the Division of Environmental Biology is hosting the office hour, most of what will be discussed will apply to all in biology.
