By the end of this session, participants will be able to define health literacy, who it impacts, and why it is important. During an interactive and hands-on segment of the presentation, participants will practice 2 strategies for addressing written and verbal health literacy skills. Participants will leave the session with the working knowledge to implement key tools for patient-centered communication in their work every day.
