Special opportunities now available through the UNE Histology and Imaging Core

During this time when having staff performing research in the lab can be challenging, the UNE Histology and Imaging Core is accepting new projects to help with your sample preparation and imaging research needs. Project submission forms are available on the Core website (https://www.une.edu/research/cobre/histology) and any questions can be sent to Peter Caradonna at pcaradonna@une.edu, or myself.

In addition, we are offering one-time fee waivers for a 2-hour pilot project on the confocal microscope with Peter Caradonna to demonstrate what the confocal can do for your IHC or reporter project. We continue to provide training of staff for use of the confocal, and we are extending fee waivers through the month of November for use of the confocal by your staff once they are trained.

Keep in mind that the CEN is offering small grant awards to help fund projects performed by the Core. This includes high resolution fluorescence applications with the new Olympus slide scanner. Forms are available on the Core website, and applications should be send to Jenn Malon (jmalon@une.edu).
