About the Seminar: This seminar will consider the unprecedented negative impacts that COVID-19 has had on older adult well-being especially from social, psychological, and behavioral perspectives. Special emphasis will be placed on resultant increases in the risk of older adults experiencing social isolation and loneliness during the pandemic as well as other conditions that have served to further threaten elder health, safety, and quality of life. Strategies for preventing and even reversing the potentially lethal consequences of older adults living isolated and lonely lives will be considered.  Read more
