The Roux Institute – Entrepreneurship Immersion summer program

Are you a college student or recent college graduate interested in startups, venture creation, and cutting-edge tech? Do you want to spend the summer exploring Maine AND receive academic credit? 

Apply now to join us for five weeks in Portland, Maine and gain hands-on, professional experience with Roux Institute resident technology startup companies while taking a credit-bearing course in entrepreneurship. No prior experience or industry knowledge is required. Space is limited. 

·        Program Highlights: 

o   Drive innovation while working on projects with startup companies at the Roux Institute, Northeastern’s newest regional campus and a hub for innovation and talent development in advanced tech. 

o   Earn 3 credits through Northeastern’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business and hone your entrepreneurial-thinking skills

o   Live in the heart of Portland’s historic Old Port neighborhood with your classmates

o   Explore Maine’s beaches, forests, restaurants, museums and more

o   Expand your professional network and add experience to your resume

o   Program Dates: July 12-August 13 

o   Application Deadline: Applications will be accepted through May 7 

o   Program Price: $7,500 (includes room and board)  

o   Scholarship Opportunities: Financial assistance and scholarship opportunities will be available to students accepted to the program. We want to ensure that all interested students are able to attend. 

o   Program Eligibility: Current undergraduate students who have completed their second or third year of college by Summer 2021 and recent graduates from the Class of 2021 are eligible to participate.
