What is AgingME?
AgingME is Maine’s Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program. After a successful first round of funding, AgingME is funded again as one of 43 federally funded GWEP programs nationwide. AgingME aims to create a more age-capable workforce in healthcare and long-term care services and supports with a focus on rural and tribal communities.

With the help of Film Director/Executive Producer Alban Maino, founder of MemoryLane TV AgingME GWEP has created an updated video “Crabbit Old Woman,” a reflective poem that invites us to really see the individuals we care for and enhance Age Friendly, person-centered, care.

Free Access: AgingME + Dementia Action Alliance Cookbook
We partnered with the Dementia Action Alliance to create a cookbook by and for people living with dementia. The cookbook includes recipes directly from individuals living with dementia, information about organizing your kitchen to make it dementia-friendly, nutritional and healthy diet information, protective kitchen aides, and much more. The cookbook is available for free here:
