We are no longer recruiting older adults to participate in the TeleHealthy Tablet program.  Thanks to our partnership with National Digital Equity Center (NDEC), we were able to provide tablets and tutoring to 85 older adults across Maine – exceeding our original goal of 50. We also provided tutoring sessions to 28 older adults.

We have now moved into the evaluation phase and will be collecting and analyzing data.

Please check back here for results.

Thank you again for your partnership in this program.

A year-long initiative to increase access to, and comfort with, using telehealth services and in particular increase use of telemedicine visits for the annual wellness visit (AWV) and advanced care planning (ACP).

In partnership with the National Digital Equity Center and the Dementia Action Alliance, we will enable up to 100  older adults —including those living with dementia and their care partners— who live in rural and other underserved areas, to access and receive training on, the use of telehealth equipment;  and, enable AgingME GWEP primary care practices to deliver telehealth services for older adults in rural areas.
